The Hilton and Lyft have joined forces to offer consumers a unique rewards program which is set to help increase consumer loyalty.
Through the new initiative, individuals can earn Hilton Honors Points by taking Lyft rides. Riders will earn three times the points for ever dollar spent on the ride share service. Hilton Honors Points can then be redeemed and applied to hotel stays as well as used toward the hotel chain's airline, car rental and shopping partners.
The new partnership is functioning under the tagline "Turn everyday rides into faraway stays," and speaks to the necessity of brands redefining their relationships with consumers. With such an overwhelming choice for consumers, brands must create unique ways to maintain loyalty.
