teamLabHanger created an incredible retail system that features virtual high-tech mannequins. The system requires an entire installation in the store and is operated on virtual mannequins appearing on the screen once a piece of clothing has been taken off of the rack.
The digitization of the mannequins is appropriately progressive and has the advantage of being versatile. Though I am unsure of how practical it is for the system to operate with hangers being taken off the rack, since I don't recall the last time I pulled something out of the rack unless I was sure I wanted to try it on.
However, this a great segue that will surely spark up new ideas and utilize the digital mannequin concept.
