Eco-efficient and affordable lodging can often lead travelers to some rather dodgy places to stay, but the Hi Matic Hotel will hopefully instigate a change for the better. This new accommodation project located in Paris is not only eco-friendly, it is also very modern and well-maintained.
Created by French designer Matali Crasset, in collaboration with Patrick Elouarghi and Philippe Chatelet, the Hi Matic Hotel is comprised of 42 cabin-like rooms that alter their function depending on the time of day. A cross between an urban hotel and a countryside bed and breakfast, the Hi Matic Hotel offers cozy spaces that have a happy, colorblocked decor. This hotel also serves organic food that solidifies it as eco-conscious.
