'Simply 5' is the name of a new Hershey's chocolate syrup that is a cleaner and healthier alternative to its regular syrup.

While the classic Hershey's chocolate syrup is made with a total of 11 ingredients like high-fructose corn syrup and other hard-to-pronounce items like diglycerides, xanthan gum and polysorbate, this new one cuts the old ingredient list in half. The new Hershey's Simply 5 Syrup is made with just cocoa, water, natural vanilla bean flavor, cane sugar and organic invert cane syrup. As well as touting this new formula, Hershey's plays up the fact that this syrup is made without artificial preservatives, flavors and non-GMO ingredients.
