The Henk Table Lamp might have already been given a name, but it could have easily been named after Tyrion Lannister or, better yet considering its modern appeal, the actor who plays him, Peter Dinklage. It has a squat, boxy appeal that takes after the talented performer perfectly. That is, if the designer still wants to pursue giving the light fixture a personality of its own.
Designed by Amsterdam-based Jos Blom, the Henk Table Lamp is made out of two birch ply parts that slide into each other to create a tripod base. The light source itself is encased in two white plastic shells that connect to the base with the help of a colored elastic cord that holds everything together snugly.
