AI-Powered Autonomous Defense Aircrafts

The Helsing CA-1 Europa is Slated to Hit the Skies in 2027

The Helsing CA-1 Europa has been unveiled as an autonomous fighter plane that's engineered to take more control over airspace in a decidedly hands-off manner. The aircraft has been built by Helsing's Grob Aircraft subsidiary and is focused on being cost-conscious as well as capable of being mass produced and also attrition-tolerant. The aircraft weighs in at four-tonnes with a 36-foot length and a wingspan that comes in at 33-feet.

The Helsing CA-1 Europa remains under development with the engine type, speed and range not yet available. The aircraft is expected to operate within the high subsonic speed range and boasts a modular payload area that could be switched up to mission requirements. The aircraft is expected to start hitting the skies in 2027.
