Eco-Friendly Stratospheric Aircrafts

Sceye HAPS is Helium-Filled and Suited for a Range of Tasks

The Sceye HAPS aircraft is an eco-friendly aircraft engineered with the needs of scientists, engineers and telecommunications companies alike in mind to provide a next-generation way to reach new heights.

The aircraft measures in at 65-meters and is helium-filled with no crew members aboard, and rated to launch vertically before proceeding on to altitudes up to 65,000-feet. The aircraft is powered by gallium selenide and gallium arsenide solar cells that are integrated into the silver foil full-body solar cape. The aircraft is suited for hovering high above the ground for months on end where it could be used for telecommunication purposes to support broadband access for underserved communities and more.

The Sceye HAPS aircraft has so far completed 20 test flights and is expected to enter commercial use starting in 2025.
