HelloFresh and Scouts have announced a partnership in the UK that's focused on supporting young people aged 10 to 14 with the development of their cooking skills.
The partnership will see 150,000 volunteers offering activities to almost 7,000 Scout Troops that includes recipes they can prepare independently. The partnership will also see HelloFresh sponsoring the Scouts chef badge by supporting Scout members in their bid to prepare meals, but also in their quest to learn about food safety, waste reduction and balanced nutrition.
CEO at HelloFresh UK & Ireland Phillip Doran spoke on the partnership with Scouts saying, "Cooking is one of the most valuable life skills a young person can learn. By partnering with Scouts, we’re helping hundreds of thousands of young people gain confidence in the kitchen, understand good nutrition, and discover that preparing food from scratch can be fun, achievable and rewarding.”
