This Youth-Targeted Campaign Will Rid Mental Health Stigmas

The United Kingdom government announced the launch of an online educational platform that will reduce and eliminate mental health stigmas. The goal for the campaign is to specifically target youth. The educational platform will be spread across schools and social media sites, including the campaign's own webpage.

The idea is to inform and educate youth about mental illnesses. There is an evident negativity that surrounds mental health, which can easily be combated through the use of accessible educational platforms. The creation of this online tool will automatically draw in tech-savvy youth.

In order to create a strong platform to discuss this sensitive topic, the government will work on the project in collaboration with a charity called 'Time To Change,' which focuses on existing mental health stigmas.
