With growing concerns about the dangers and potential health risks associated with wire bristle grill brushes and other barbecue tools, a Montreal based start-up create The Cedar Scraper. This beautifully designed grill-cleaning tool addresses health issues with style and panache. Made entirely of western red cedar, it's all-natural, safe, non-toxic and bristle-free!
Being unimpressed with other options available on the market, Eric Paquette and Richard Hayes, BBQ enthusiasts and creators of the project, believed there was need for a better product. Their goal was to create an alternative that is not only eco-friendly, safe and efficient but also attractively designed. After extensive prototyping, they reached what they believe is the perfect combination of form and function.
In a product niche that has seen little innovation or change since it’s inception, The Cedar Scraper is a welcome addition.
