As much as meditating is a solo activity, it doesn't have to be done alone, as proved by Snapchat's new Headspace Minis. The newest update to Snapchat invites users to try six free topics like Just Breathe or Kick the Panic, which can be done alone or experienced with a friend.
While there are tons of meditation apps that help users go within, this experience Snapchat created with Headspace acknowledges that people turn to one another during difficult times and this feature has the potential to "provide a safe space for friends to practice mindfulness and be able to send encouraging messages to positively boost friends in need."
Even if friends don't meditate with one another, the app makes it easy for Snapchat users to communicate how they're feeling with stickers.
