A gigantic bunny will serve as the home of the Macau Pavilion for the Shanghai World Expo. The Macau Pavilion will look like a jade rabbit and change colors to represent mythology. Rabbit lanterns were popular during the mid-fall festival in China during ancient times.
In Chinese mythology, the jade rabbit is a guide leading to a fairy land. The Macau Pavilion will have a double layer of glass membrane and fluorescent screens; balloons will be the head and tail and will move to attract attention.
