HandsFree Health launched a voice-integrated virtual health platform that is designed to help seniors at home, named WellBe. The WellBe platform was made possible through a partnership with an organization named BeHomeSafe. The system includes a voice-compatible smart speaker that is HIPAA compliant, as well as a PERS smartwatch that provides health information. WellBe is also able to provide reminders to users, which can help people take medication, get to a doctor's appointment, and order prescription refills. The reminder feature also requires a verbal confirmation to ensure the user gets important information.
HandsFree Health notes that the WellBe system could help service the increasing number of people who choose to age at their current home while providing important safety features.
