While the attire featured in Hana Pesut's photography may not be what most people would consider unisex, these pictures demonstrate that men and women's fashion apparel can be interchangeable.
Pesut's work does a fabulous job at dissolving supposed boundaries between proper male and female clothing. What is "appropriate" is merely a popular opinion that becomes increasingly endorsed despite practicality or desire. No one would call out a lady for wearing a man's jacket or shirt, but a man wearing a dress or skirt will certainly be labelled under certain categories.
In a time of increasing change adaptability and the acceptance of new ideass has never been more important. If new models are being erected in every facet of life, perhaps it's time that gender stereotypes and fashion senses also begin to set aside predetermined notions of what is correct.
