Mercedes-AMG Celebrates 50th Anniversary with New GT Track Series

Mercedes-AMG, the high-performance division of Mercedes-Benz, has unveiled its new AMG GT Track Series, the brand's most powerful customer sports car yet.

The new model was designed specifically for the track and, therefore, borrows elements from the GT Black Series while turning things up a notch in terms of power. For example, the AMG GT Track Series comes equipped with a 4.0L V8 Biturbo with motorsport injectors and an engine capable of delivering 778 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. This extra power is then paired with a Hewland HLS 6-speed racing gearbox. Other notable features of the new sports car include adjustable four-way Bilstein dampers, adjustable anti-roll bars, carbon fiber aerodynamic updates, and more.

The GT Black Series is being limited to a total of just 55 units. Owners will also be given access to ongoing support services and a dedicated Customer Service Portal.
