The self-driving delivery company, Udelv, has entered into a partnership that will launch a grocery delivery pilot program. The partnership is with a Grocery store chain, titled HEB Group, which is located in Texas. The program will deliver products to customers in the area of Olmos Park, which is near San Antonio.
Udelev has other trials taking place in the Bay Area, Arizona, and Houston. In those areas it makes autonomous delivers for its other clients, notably Walmart.
Both of the companies note how customer experience is a top priority in the grocery delivery pilot program. Udelv notes that its attention to the intricacies of autonomous technology as well as food storage makes them uniquely qualified to take on the task.
