Toronto's 'Bar Begonia' offers mostly appetizers to place an emphasis on the importance of grazing rather than gorging on food.
The entire menu was based around the concept of sharing a variety of appetizers rather than picking from one or two standard menu items. The bar offers food both common and unique, with fried eggs and mushrooms, french cheeses, tartine with cranberry and rotating plates of cold snacks that include carbs, veggies and proteins alike. The practice of grazing rather than eating entire meals ensures that patrons of the bar are able to snack on anything they like.
This playful bar concept makes for a fun social activity that is equal parts diverse and conducive to socializing.
