Teton Waters Ranch (TWR) offers a range of 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef products, but its newest offering introduces grass-fed beef patties that are mixed with mushrooms. TWR's Burger Blends are touted as a "mindful mix” of both grass-fed beef and mushrooms" and have the potential to appeal to flexitarian consumers who enjoy eating meat but are also open to exploring plant-based options.
Currently, TWR offers breakfast and dinner sausages, hot dogs and meatballs. When it came time to introduce a burger to its assortment, the brand considered a 100% beef burger but settled on an option that would best reflect consumer desires, as well as align with its own stance on sustainability.
A number of food service providers, restaurants and meal kit brands are also appealing to the flexitarian consumer with products that flavorfully combine vegetables and meat.
