For the debut of its latest graphic bag collection, Vancouver-based label Herschel Supply takes the artistic road and launches a range of offerings that pay homeage to the talents of globally renowned painter Jean-Michel Basquiat.
The silhouettes that are a part of this launch are various — from backpacks and duffles to crossbody pouches and hip packs. For the motif, Herschel Supply drew inspiration from the late artist's Neo-Expressionist works. Thus, the graphic bag capsule embraces the brush strokes of highly acclaimed paintings like 'Untitled (Scull/Skull),' 'Now's The Time,' and 'Per Capita.'
The chic collection is stylistically unified through the incorporation of Jean-Michel Basquiat's recognizable three-point crown symbol. Available online on the company's website, Herschel Supply's graphic bag collection is, without a doubt, "spontaneous, bold, and vibrant," just like the artist's breathtaking paintings.
