Domino's will enable GPS food tracking for its customers. The new feature will be rolling out to all United States locations by the end of 2019. GPS delivery tracking will not only allow customers to keep an eye on their delivery order, the company's CEO Ritch Allison indicates it will do more. Ritch Allison stated that he is more interested in locations being able to use the data that comes as a result of GPS food tracking. This can be used in order to make the delivery process more efficient.
Domino's has a long history of implementing new technology into its business. Notably, in 2008, the pizza chain implemented a website tracker where users could see the progress of their order.
