Kid-Friendly Digital Wallets

Google Wallet for Kids Offers Parents a Digital Way to Give Money

Google Wallet for kids is being launched by the brand as a way to help youths pay for in-store purchases digitally using money transferred to them from their parents or guardian. The digital wallet feature will enable kids to gain access to digital funds for making in-store payments with their Android smartphone, while also holding documents like a library card, event tickets, gift cards and more. Administrators will receive an email every time a purchase is made by the child and can cut off access anytime.

Google Wallet for kids is being rolled out in the US, UK, Australia, Spain and Poland, and will work in tandem with the Family Link interface to let administrators keep a closer eye on everything.
