Smart speakers are quickly becoming a commonplace item in the home but are solely focused on audio feedback, so the conceptual Google Visual Assistant identifies what could be done to enhance the experience with visual info.
Designed by Pascal Grangier and Jiwon Seo, the unit works by being prompted with the user's voice to perform various tasks in the real world or digitally. The projection technology within will provide users with the information they need without the need for a traditional TV or even built-in screen to accommodate the needs of consumers who are spending more of their days online than ever.
The conceptual Google Visual Assistant is positioned as an all-in-one entertainment solution that identifies what could one day soon replace the traditional television set.
