Cycling is one of the most popular ways to get around European streets, so it's about time Google Maps released bike-friendly directions for several popular European countries. The new European-friendly Google Maps bike directions will allow Europeans to pick locations they want to bike to, instantly receive bike-friendly directions and listen to the directions announced by a GPS. Bikers can also choose features to avoid busy streets or to strictly stay on bike courses.

This is a great feature especially for France, which is famous for its great cycling routes. The new Google Maps bike component for Europe will definitely be a great tourist-friendly summer feature.
