Many small businesses struggle when it comes to taking an offline establishment online, but the Google Juice Bar will be helping business owners in Wales do exactly that. Google UK has launched a year-long program to help Welsh small biz owners revitalize their businesses online through free consultations and workshops focused on digital skill-building.

The Google Juice Bar will help businesses set up their websites as well as help current online businesses increase their site traffic. Google plans to travel through the country, starting March 6 in Cardiff, to give these free one-on-one consultations to at least 1,000 businesses.

The impetus for the Google Juice Bar campaign was Google’s findings that up to 40 percent of Welsh small and medium businesses do not currently have a website, and only 33 percent of the businesses include e-commerce operations.

As the managing director of Google UK, Dan Cobley, says, "The internet provides a barrierless platform for businesses to grow, so we are excited about coming to Wales for a year-long series of events to show business owners how easily this can be done."
