VR content is proliferating as the technology continues to become more readily available to consumers, but Google Blocks is a new app that lets users skip the content from other producers and go straight to making their own. The creative design app lets users build their own 3D models in virtual reality by making use of an intuitive interface that anyone can use, from professional graphic designers to those who can barely draw a smiley face.

Many content designers working in the VR space create their models on computer screens. Though the software they use can of course show the models in 3D, it's difficult to fully understand their impact unless one actually dons a VR headset. Google Blocks operates solely within VR, making it easier for people to design things exactly as intended.
