Glow-In-The-Dark Material Innovations

Amolen Expands Its Thermoplastic Polyurethane Filament Range

Amolen has expanded its thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) filament offerings with two innovative material variants — glow-in-the-dark and transparent formulations. These offerings promise to enhance creative and functional possibilities for 3D printing enthusiasts and professionals.

The glow-in-the-dark TPU, which is activated by UV light, provides long-lasting luminescence while maintaining the flexibility and durability characteristic of TPU. The filament is suitable for safety gear, toys, wearables, and decorative items. The transparent variant, on the other hand, combines optical clarity with abrasion resistance and elasticity. It is ideal for applications requiring both visibility and flexibility, such as light diffusers, protective covers, and industrial seals.

Both materials undergo rigorous safety testing at Amolen’s Research & Development lab, adhering to REACH, RoHS, and EN71 certifications.
