Earlier in the year, Converse partnered with JW Anderson for a co-branded tonal suede collection and the two fashion-forward entities are launching the second collab for 2018 that boasts a pack of toy-inspired glossy shoes. The offerings channel two iconic Chuck Taylor All Star 70 silhouettes and are available in four gradient-rich colorways.
The glossy shoes constitute a capsule that the Converse and JW Anderson chose to dub 'Toy.' The uppers of the sneakers are playfully smooth and lustrous. This, in turn, offers a textured juxtaposition to the laces that are selected to be fuzzy and mismatched.
The Converse x JW Anderson footwear collaboration is subtly branded. The playfully glossy shoes are accented with embossed logos on the side and the heel.
