Global Audiobook Platforms

Spotify Expands 350,000 Audiobooks to More Than 180 Markets

Spotify is expanding global audiobook platforms by bringing its audiobook catalog from 22 markets to more than 180 by the end of 2026. The rollout will make over 350,000 titles available across more than 120 languages, with access offered through Premium listening hours, Audiobooks+ add-ons, and direct purchases depending on the market. Spotify is also updating Page Match so readers can scan a book’s ISBN and use page numbers to switch between print, e-book, and audio without losing their place.

The broader rollout gives Spotify another way to deepen engagement beyond music and podcasts while reaching new listeners internationally. Multiple access models can support different spending habits, while Audiobooks+ already contributes recurring revenue. For authors and publishers, Spotify’s non-exclusive approach also creates additional distribution opportunities across a much larger global audience.
