'Give One' is a new charitable platform which aims to make donations more manageable, and regular. Give One is trying to break down the complications and irregularities involved with donating to charities by encouraging smaller, more frequent donations.
The app allows users to set their account to automatically donate between 25 cents and $2 per day to their choice, of six possible causes: education and arts, the environment, homelessness and poverty, equality, health and relief, violence and bullying. The breakdown of these categories allows for a more digestible approach to donating in which the user doesn't feel too over-whelmed by choice.
Users can change which cause they'd like to donate at any time and can opt to receive monthly emails updating them on the work the charity does with their donations.
