This astounding Gingerbread Brownstone by blogger Renee from the crafty blog Kitchen Table Scraps will put those ho hum squat gumdrop ridden cottages to shame. There is no way the likes of Hansel and Gretal could resist the charms of this sugary abode. This elaborate and 100% edible dwelling comes complete with sugar glass windows, a petite gingerbread bicycle parked out front and a garbage and recycling bin alongside the tasty building. The whole sumptuous structure is strategically iced and dusted with powered sugar to mimic the appearance of recent snowfall.
As the holidays approach, gingerbread architects everywhere are busy putting the finishing touches on their grand confectionery structures, but if you have yet to bust out the royal icing and go to town this impressive Gingerbread Brownstone should serve as adequate inspiration to get you started.
Detailed, adorable and hopelessly charming, this Gingerbread Brownstone is a holiday showstopper.
