Getting started with meditation can seem pretty intimidating, but the Get Some Headspace app is designed to offer guided bite-sized meditations to strengthen your daily practice. The app has specific meditations on sleep, stress, eating, walking and public transit, designed to help you be more mindful everywhere, not just while you're sitting in a lotus position. These meditations are available for download so that you can use them offline without racking up data charges. Additionally, there are more meditations to purchase in-app after the completion of the free 'Take10' meditations.
The Get Some Headspace app is also built with a reminder and tracking system, so that you can get into the habit of taking time out of your day for regular meditations on a routine basis.
