A group of researchers and engineers working out of Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Eye and Ear have developed a wonderfully innovative and undeniably futuristic not to mention highly advanced pair of smart glasses that are designed to make it easier than ever for people suffering from visual impairments to use smartphone devices and get the most out of them.
What's great about these smart glasses is that users can navigate across the phone's display using their head movements. If you move your head up, you get taken to the top of the screen while moving your head to the left takes you to the left of screen. This way, users can retain a sense of context that will make it easier for them to navigate their phone.
Ultimately, these smart glasses show how head gestures can be incorporated into a smartphone system.
