Geometrix Design has come up with a seriously wavy concept for a room with its Parametrium of Contrasts project. Most people are used to seeing straight walls when waking up in the morning, but this new look will make people wonder what the heck they took before hitting the hay the night before.
The entire room is black and white, adding a minimalist feel to the place. However, the walls are constantly curved with various textures and in differing places throughout. The ceiling remains straight, which adds to the effect of just how wavy the walls are on all four sides.
Most architects stick with straight lines when building abodes, but this project demonstrates that the more people think outside the box and push the bounds of design, the better the results.
