Mary Jane Running Sneakers

Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS GEL-QUANTUM 360 I Uses a Slip-On Strap

Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS GEL-QUANTUM 360 I is a reworked version of the performance running silhouette, redesigned into a slip-on Mary Jane format. The sneaker removes traditional laces and replaces them with a strap-based closure, shifting the structure toward a more open and flexible upper. The design introduces floral detailing across the surface, applied to mesh panels to create contrast between soft ornamentation and technical materials. Two monochrome colourways, pink and black, define the release.

The shoe retains the GEL-QUANTUM sole unit, maintaining full-length cushioning and impact absorption from the original model. The upper construction is simplified to emphasise movement and ease of wear, aligning with the modified strap system. The silhouette moves away from the bulk of standard running shoes, using reduced structure and lighter materials while preserving the underlying performance tooling. The release is scheduled for April 18 through the designer’s channels, followed by a wider global rollout.
