Japanese label SASQUATCHFABRIX joined forces with iconic footwear label ASICS in re-imagining the signature GEL-PTG MT footwear silhouette. The new version of the heritage sneaker takes on a brand new approach. The classic GEL-PTG MT is a 35-year-old silhouette and it is revived with elevated materials and details. The uppers are constructed with premium nubuck materials in a tonal khaki-hued colorway.
The GEL-PTG MT shoes also boast the same khaki color across the laces, the midsoles and the leather-crafted sock liners. Additional upgraded details include the elastic tongue strap that enables consumers to wear the shoe without laces. Branding details from the two labels can also be found adorning the tongue patch. The heritage sneakers will be available at locations in Japan beginning April 7th.
