Blue Green Works Debuts the Garden Collection

— May 6, 2026 — Art & Design
The New York City-based design studio Blue Green Works has launched the Garden Collection —  a series of seven pieces developed in collaboration with Murano glass artisans. The capsule merges iconic glass motifs with mirrore and polished steel and brass forms. In price, the incredibly detailed and exquisitely intricate pieces range from $3,200 to $32,000 USD. As such, these ornamental pieces target high-net-worth individuals.

The design-forward Garden Collection is available on Blue Green Works' website as well as SCP in London and Triode in Paris. This collection reinterprets Baroque ornamentation through a restrained lens, positioning garden spaces as controlled wilderness where patience and repetition enable moments of heightened beauty.

Each piece in the Garden Collection is carefully manufactured in Italy.

Trend Themes

  1. Artisanal Luxury Revival — An increased appetite for handcrafted, provenance-rich objects is creating room for premium offerings that fuse traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design language.
  2. Hybrid Material Ornamentation — Designs combining glass with mirrored and polished metals are enabling new hybrid forms that challenge conventional material hierarchies in decorative arts.
  3. Controlled Wilderness Aesthetic — A restrained reinterpretation of Baroque garden motifs is prompting interest in objects that evoke cultivated natural complexity through detailed repetition and restraint.

Industry Implications

  1. High-end Home Decor — Demand from high-net-worth buyers for unique statement pieces is encouraging supply chains that prioritize limited-edition runs and atelier-level quality.
  2. Luxury Retail Platforms — Curated online and brick-and-mortar retailers specializing in design-forward luxury are creating channels for niche artisanal brands to reach global collectors.
  3. Artisanal Manufacturing Tourism — Interest in provenance and craft experience is driving potential for travel experiences centered on workshops and studio visits tied to exclusive product narratives.
