'Galaxy Racer,' the Dubai-based esports organization, has announced an upcoming tournament series named the 'GAMERS GALAXY: Dota 2 Invitational Series Dubai 2022.' This tournament series will be an invitational, meaning it will only be open to professional players who have been invited to compete. The prize pool for this tournament is $1 million AED, or roughly $272,000 USD.

The tournament has already confirmed a variety of world-renowned esports teams will be participating, such as 'Fnatic' and 'TSM.' GAMERS GALAXY will begin on March 2nd, 2022, and will run for five days until March 6th, 2022. This Middle Eastern tournament marks the first major, high-profile Dota 2 tournament to be held in the region this year, which carves the way for a great future of competitive gaming in the region throughout 2022.
