HoYoverse, global interactive entertainment brand, has unveiled its plans to inaugurate the highly-anticipated international Genius Invokation TCG Tournament series under the banner of its esteemed video game title, Genshin Impact. Aptly titled "Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup," the competition is slated to transpire in the latter half of 2023.
The free-to-play open-world adventure RPG called Genshin Impact transports players to the gorgeous realm of Teyvat, where they have to complete quests and reunite with their twin sibling to defeat enemies. Genshin Impact recently gave the Tavern community permission to start the inaugural season of the "Cat's Tail Gathering" GITCG competition, a Discord-based community competition system, earlier this year.
The "Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup" strives to offer more expansive platforms for exceptional players and casuals alike. Sign-ups for the wildcard tournament are now available, and regional competitions will begin first in Korea, Europe, and North America.
