Fantasy Character Cosmetic Transformations

Paolo Ballesteros is a talented makeup artist that uses contouring techniques and cosmetic products to transform himself into different people, such as this series where he turns himself into several Game of Thrones faces. The end result is incredibly lifelike, as Ballesteros is able to use makeup to completely transform the shape and look of his face to that of the actors.

Ballesteros focuses on the female characters from the show for his transformation, including Melisandre, Daenerys Targaryen and Cersei Lannister. The transformation is captured in a series of four photos that show the detail and power of makeup to change the aesthetic of the face. In each look, Ballesteros focuses on using dark powders, shading and highlighting to replicate the face shape, structure and look of the actors in their roles.
