As if the HBO hit epic wasn't racy enough, now there's a Game of Thrones Burlesque show touring the U.S.
The Game of Thrones Burlesque event fits into the genre of "nerd-lesque" -- Burlesque shows that borrow elements from such fantasy and sci-fi standards as Star Trek, Star Wars and now, Game of Thrones.
The Game of Thrones Burlesque show, called 'Burlesque is Coming,' has been approved by George R.R. Martin himself, author of the expansive series of novels upon which the HBO show is based. In fact, the show will debut in the theater the reclusive writer owns in Santa Fe. Following the Burlesque tradition, the Game of Thrones Burlesque is packed full of risque puns -- extending even to the special cocktail which will be served during the show, called the 'Stark Naked.'
