Sri Lankan 3D visualizer Thilina Liyanage developed a set of futuristic ocean cabins that have a daring design. The adventurous cabins are suspended off of an ocean-facing cliffside using sturdy supports and steel cables. The futuristic ocean cabins have an industrial feel, with metal and glass making up the primary exterior materials. These materials focus on sustainability and ethical sourcing, introducing eco-friendly elements to the buildings.
The futuristic ocean cabins are reminiscent of old fighter plane cockpits. Thilina Liyanage drew influence for the cabins' curving shapes from dolphins emerging from the water. The abodes are enterable through a suspended set of stairs that lead to a hatch-like door. Within each cabin, there is a bathroom, bedroom, living room, and kitchen. The glass walls make for expansive panoramic views inflected by the hint of danger provided by the cabins' suspension.
