The 'PFS Digital Mortise and Tenon Digital Furniture Store' is an innovative new location, situated in China, that acts as an exemplary and innovative example of furniture store design due to the manner in which it comprises heavy use of CNC panels and modern design techniques in conjunction with ancient Chinese design cues.

Created by Partyfriendship Studio, this furniture store design is built around 20 units created from plywood panels. A high-tech cutting procedure was employed with the use of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery in order to create the wooden panels that comprise the space. Effectively, this technique meant that the construction of the 'PFS Digital Mortise and Tenon Digital Furniture Store' was possible without the use of screws.

What's more, waste materials fostered by the construction process were set aside for recycling, making this a fine example of both creative and waste-reducing retail design.
