Full-Color Resin Printers

Flashforge CJ270 Combines ColorPrint Software With MultiJet Functions

Flashforge's CJ270 full-color resin printer supports over 10 million colors and features seven full-color inkjet printheads, providing control over the color of each layer. It prints with photosensitive resins using MultiJet Printing and builds models within an 180 × 120 × 100 mm build volume. The machine achieves 7 μm precision for fine detail.

The CJ270 runs ColorPrint, a slicer for color layout management, and pairs with AI-assisted tools that convert 2D references into 3D files. Its workflow layers CMYK with white and clear materials to expand tonal range, and it uses water-soluble support material for easier cleanup. Noise levels are at or below 55 dB, and an activated carbon filter reduces odors.

For makers, this means photorealistic parts with tight color control and minimal post-processing, useful for prototyping, miniatures, and product mockups. The combination of fine resolution, multihead color, and solvent-friendly supports speeds colorized resin output and broadens desktop 3D printing applications.

Full-color Resin Printing
Layer-level CMYK control in resin fabrication creates room for photorealistic prototypes, collectibles, and visual models that reduce dependence on manual painting or external finishing.
AI-generated 3D Files
The conversion of 2D references into printable 3D assets lowers technical barriers for designers, makers, and brands seeking faster paths from concept imagery to physical output.
Low-post-processing Fabrication
Water-soluble supports, odor filtration, and quieter operation make detailed desktop manufacturing more practical in studios, offices, and small production environments.

Industries Being Reshaped

3D Printing
MultiJet color resin systems expand additive manufacturing beyond structural prototyping into visually accurate parts with finer detail and richer material presentation.
Product Design
High-resolution color mockups support faster evaluation of form, finish, and branding before committing to molds, suppliers, or production tooling.
Tabletop Gaming
Photorealistic miniatures and terrain pieces introduce new potential for customized, ready-to-display gaming assets produced with minimal hand finishing.
