These Fujitsu Robotic Teddy Bears Interact with Humans
Summer Luu — October 9, 2010 — Tech
I haven't decided whether this Fujitsu robotic teddy bear is smart or creepy as it eerily interacts with humans.
The talking teddy bear is pre-programmed with 300 different physical and audio reactions. It even has a camera in its nose to recognize facial expressions. It can wave back at you and blinks like a real-life figure. However, this Fujitsu robotic teddy bear wasn't only developed for the kids. This piece also targets lonely seniors in nursing homes, looking for some companionship.
