'Fruit Refreshers' from Del Monte put a refreshingly healthy spin on fruit cups. In the past few years, changes in health consciousness have caused consumers to scrutinize the use of sugars, artificial additives and high-fructose corn syrups. As such, fruit cups of the past with fruit chunks suspended in a "light syrup" gives many consumers cause to be concerned. Del Monte's Fruit Refreshers do away with undesirable additives and introduce 'Mandarin Oranges in Slightly Sweetened Coconut Water' and 'Pineapple in Passion Fruit-Flavored Slightly Sweetened Fruit Water.'

Fruit Refreshers are sold in packs of two shapely large 90-calorie cups, which recognizes that many consumers are returning to bigger portions of whole fruits for on-the-go snacking.

Soon, 'Grapefruit & Oranges in Pomegranate-Flavored Fruit Water' and 'Red Grapefruit in Guava-Flavored Fruit Water' will also be introduced to the Fruit Refreshers family.
