Frozen food products are often associated with anything but being fresh, so the new Merci Chef packaging is intended to convey a handmade aesthetic.
Designed by Tatil Design, the Merci Chef packaging features a black background as the base and various different shades to correspond to the different product line. Ingredients are strew across the boxes to be used as a visual accent and help to correlate the freshness of veggies and herbs to the product inside.
The Merci Chef frozen food products are finished with a picture of the final product to help ensure picky eaters know what they're getting. The various fonts used on the packaging draw inspiration from what you might find at a French restaurant to perhaps associate the fine foods with restaurant meals.
