To help consumers get through the long winter days ahead, McAlister's Deli has debuted a new French Onion Chicken Sandwich and French Onion Soup. In other words, it's double the savory onion goodness for customers.
McAlister's new French Onion Soup is a tasty take on a classic winter soup. The dish starts with a beef broth base that's been simmered with garlic, sherry, and caramelized onions. The soup is then topped with house-made croutons, and a combination of Swiss and parmesan cheeses. The new French Onion Chicken Sandwich mimics these same flavors, but in a heartier form. The sandwich starts with a toasted ciabatta bun, topped with grilled chicken, caramelized onions, crispy onions, au jus, tomato, Swiss cheese, parmesan cheese, herb mayo, and spring mix.
