The French Ministry of Health ad campaign addresses a big issue that many children in the Western world are suffering from: obesity. With easy access to junk foods as well as decreased physical activity, it is no wonder that parents are having a hard time keeping their offspring happy and healthy. Or, more realistically, happily healthy considering that what kid wouldn't be happy playing video games and eating candy?
Art directed and copy written by David Lesage, the French Ministry of Health ad campaign reads, "L'obesite commence des le plus jeune age," which means "obesity starts at a young age." This is illustrated by an image of an ice cream cone. But instead of ice cream, it is topped with a big belly.
