Australian TV broadcasting company Freeview, which has made a name for itself for promoting Australia's free-to-air channels by offering more than 25 channels free of charge, is looking to take the free-to-air TV revolution ito the next level by launching a new smartphone streaming service to enable Australians to enjoy free TV programming on their ubiquitous devices.

Dubbed Freeview FV, this new app will make it easier than ever for users to enjoy live streams of all free-to-air TV channels, a pertinent TV guide, personalized recommendations and a handy programming search feature. The app is designed to work side-by-side with the FreeviewPlus TV service.

Ultimately, the advent of the Freeview FV app speaks to the manner in which television streaming services are evolving to stay in tune with new customer demands and requirements.
