In honor of Father's Day, Wienerschnitzel announced that it will be giving away a free chili dog to hungry dads on their special day. The promotion complements a similar giveaway that the chain held on Mother's Day, which rewarded hard-working moms with an entire meal.
The tasty Father's Day promotion will be held on Sunday, June 19th, at all participating Wienerschnitzel locations. On this day, hungry dads will be able to come in and pick up an all-beef chili dog free of charge. However, like the chain's Mother's Day promotion, dads will be required to show "proof of fatherhood" in order to claim their free chili dog. According to the chain, this can include bringing the kids along, showing a family photo or telling an embarrassing story that will validate one's dad-status.
